Arimed Orthotics and Prosthetics offer the latest information on prosthetics, orthotics, and patient care. We often hold sessions where our experienced practitioners give talks and show samples of braces and prosthetics.

Recently, Arimed was asked to provide a full in-service at our Brooklyn facility for 15 rehabilitation residents from SUNY Downstate Medical. The first section was on orthotics presented by one of our  orthotists, Steven Mirones. It was followed by a presentation on prosthetics by our prosthetists, Bill Goldberg. Then special guest, Derek Dominici, demonstrated an advanced prosthetic hand called the iLimb. Finally, the residents had a chance to tour our lab where we manufacture custom braces and assemble the prosthesis. They had a chance to see Arimed’s talented lab techs do their jobs.
