Arimed Attends Meeting of the Brooklyn Orthopaedic Society
Thursday, March 19th, the Brooklyn Orthopaedic Society held their 3rd meeting for the 2008/2009 Academic Season. The topic under discussion was treatment of non-union fractures. Key speakers were Dr. Austin Fragomen (Hospital for Special Surgery) and Dr. Ariel Goldman (SUNY Downstate Medical Center).
This topic was designed for all physicians, residents, physician assistants, physical and occupational therapists, orthotists, and all others involved in the care of patients with musculoskeletal conditions. Speakers are notable orthopedic surgeons chosen for their extensive knowledge on the subject at hand. Very often, they are selected from New York City and currently practice in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Staten Island, Queens, and the Bronx. Arimed practitioners attend the quarterly meetings to stay current on the topics.
