This newsletter focuses on the unique aspects of providing orthotic devices to children. From a biomechanical and
design perspective, working with young patients draws largely on the same orthotic principles and materials
as with adults; indeed the spectrum of orthotic appliances includes relatively few systems designed
specifically for pediatric applications.
